Philanthropists are important individuals in society. Philanthropy involves working with charitable organizations and nonprofit organizations. Both of these help others and are often in desperate need of funds. Philanthropists are people who support charities and donate funds. There are often several actions philanthropists take to support charity.

Many of these influential individuals host charity events. They may donate the venue and the necessities for these events. They also invite their friends and family in an effort to raise funds. These events often involve donations, and can include galas, silent auctions, and other types of fundraisers.

Philanthropists are often major donors themselves. They regularly send money to a variety of charities in order to better their communities. These individuals care about others and work with charitable organizations to help people. Philanthropists play an important role in their communities because they are often able to donate substantial amounts of money, or they are able to fundraise money for people who are in need. Brandon Steven is an active philanthropist in Kansas. He cares about his community and he works hard to fundraise money for charities.

Brandon Steven - Benefits Of Taking A Daily Run

Brandon Steven enjoys staying physically fit and healthy, and one of the ways he does that is by taking a daily run. Running is a great way to stay in shape, and you can do it almost anywhere. Are you aware of the benefits of taking a daily run?
Improves Mood
Studies have proven that exercise can help fight depression and improve your mood. Being outdoors or even running on a treadmill will help your mind relax and focus on the run and not the things that are stressing you out at home or work. This will give your mind a chance to reset and focus on other things that make you happy.

Activates Metabolism
When you exercise, your metabolism starts to work harder. That means you are burning more calories and fat and have more energy to do more things. Many people prefer to take a daily run in the morning to help get their metabolism activated for the entire day.

Keeps You Fit
When you run you use a lot of different muscles, and this helps keep those muscles toned and fit. You can burn calories and gain muscles by running, so a daily run can get you into shape fairly quickly and help keep you lean and trim.

Brandon Steven encourages his family to stay active and often persuades his children and wife to run with him. If you are looking for an easy way to stay healthy and active, consider adding a short run to your daily schedule.

Brandon Steven - Coaching Youth Soccer

Brandon Steven
Brandon Steven has six children ranging from age one to 14. He loves to spend time with them and has coached their sports teams for many years. He also supports their other extracurricular activities. If you plan to coach youth soccer, consider these tips.

Make It Fun
The most important thing you can do for youth athletes is to make the sports fun. This will make them more likely to pay attention and learn and to stick with the sport. Nobody wants to play a sport that isn’t fun. Find a way to coach in a creative way and do little games and challenges to make practices more fun as well.

Teach The Basics
All new athletes should learn the basics of a sport before they learn anything else. Once they have mastered the basics, they can learn harder and more difficult skills and tricks and improve more and more each season. The younger an athlete is when he learns the basics, the better he will become as he grows older and continues to play.

Give Praise
When young children are learning to play soccer or any sport, they are often self-conscious and wonder if they are doing it right. Make sure you aren’t only offering criticism during your time as a coach, but also lots of praise when an athlete gets it right or does something well.

Brandon Steven finds that coaching youth sports is fun and rewarding. He encourages his children to stay active and hopes that by coaching them he can help motivate them to try new things and succeed.
