Brandon Steven - Choosing The Right Fraternity

Brandon Steven was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity at Southern Illinois State University. He made a lot of memories and met a lot of people during that time and enjoyed being a part of the fraternity. If you are considering joining a fraternity, consider these tips to help you choose the one that is right for you.

Hazing

When you decide to join a fraternity, you will be hazed by the current members. Some hazing is simple, and some can get out of hand. Make sure you are comfortable with the hazing process and it is worth the trouble to join the fraternity.

Stereotype.

Every fraternity will have some kind of stereotype. Maybe it's a party house or a nerd house. Make sure you join a fraternity with a stereotype that best represents you as a person or one that you are comfortable being associated with.

Opportunities

The whole point in joining a fraternity is to better yourself and have a better college experience. Make sure you are aware of the opportunities each fraternity offers, and you join the one that offers the best or most that fit your interests or needs.

Brandon Steven was happy to be a part of a fraternity. If you want to join one in college, make sure you take your time, consider all your options and choose the fraternity that is best for you. Being in a fraternity can be a fun and rewarding experience, as long as you choose the right one.
